On November 16, 1957, the Benelux Society for Phlebology (Benelux Vereniging voor Flebologie / Société Bénéluxienne de Phlébologie) was established, bringing together healthcare professionals from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg who share a special interest in venous and lymphatic disorders.
