Annual Meeting 2023

Anne Jan Toonstra will close the first day of the Annual Meeting. He is a cabaret artist, presenter and musician.

While studying Medicine, Anne Jan won 2 cabaret festivals (Cameretten and the Groninger Student Cabaret Festival). And this is when he became a cabaret artist. Among other things, he made 5 solo performances and performed extensively all over the Netherlands.

But… the passion for Medicine always remained. That is why Anne Jan has now created a musical cabaret show about Medicine. A show in which he considers the medical world from the perspective of the 7 Deadly Sins. After all, sins are part of life and they also influence the actions of both caregivers and patients.
In the show, Anne Jan uses songs and conferences about human characteristics such as shame, jealousy and gluttony to give a sharp, hilarious and musical view on healthcare and the medical world in particular.
