Welcome to the website of the Benelux Society of Phlebology

On the 16th November 1957, the Benelux Society of Phlebology (Benelux Vereniging voor Flebologie / Société Bénéluxienne de Phlébologie) was founded, gathering medical doctors from Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg with a special interest in venous and lymphatic pathology.

As such it is one of the oldest phlebologic societies in the world, fully integrated in the Union Internationale de Phlébologie (UIP), and cooperating with the European Venous Forum (EVF). Medical practitioners specialised in dermatology, angiology and vascular surgery as well as in other specialties and general practitioners can find here an interesting forum for discussion.
